At Oxford Crossing the decorative elements are recycled from the large heavy timber beams from the previous building. The building façade and signage pylons pay homage to the site’s history. Nestled into a challenging site geometry the contemporary architectural imagery is enhanced by the low impact sustainable site bioswales and pedestrian scaled retail facades.
At River Point Landing in Prince George we established a set of interesting design elements to establish a playful way of expressing weather protection, signage areas and a wood related theme. These theme elements appear and re-appear through the site to develop a unique aesthetic identity for this high profile site.
