Though a modest renovation, the BCIT TEC Hub demonstrates DA’s ability to create a vibrant education environment that is tuned to industry demands.

BCIT relocated their Computer Information Technology program to their Downtown Campus in Vancouver.  They wished to create a facility that mirrors the working environment their students will face when graduating from their program, while supporting the delivery of the educational program.  In doing so, BCIT and the design team collaborated with high-tech industry leaders to identify the key characteristics of this new facility to achieve this objective.

The result is a learning cluster containing a series of collaborative classroom and project areas, a student lounge and flexible multi-use spaces.
