The iconic Chateau Whistler Hotel is a direct descendant of the great hotels of the Canadian Pacific Railway Company. Terraces, lounges and restaurants welcome après skiers and summer guests who come to celebrate the immediate ski activities in winter, and the waterfall and flowered meadows in the summer. Chateau Whistler’s retail shops located on lower levels can be accessed from within and from the public street. The building was completed in 1989 in a joint venture with MCMP Architects.
