DA prepared the PDR and ultimately designed this three classroom addition to increase the capacity of an elementary school that DA designed in the 1990’s.

The addition accommodates 4 kindergarten classrooms, 2 classrooms, special education rooms and washrooms organised around a central project area.  The unique vaulted ceilings and millwork in the existing classrooms were replicated in the new classrooms.

Architecturally, the addition strongly relates to the existing school’s architecture, creating an overall unified expression.
